This is one of the most popular ways for us to promote calls on the EntryThingy platform. The calls list is an aggregation of different calls for entries happening all across the world. We aggregate from multiple different sites and we're constantly trying to add more calls to this list. We give you the opportunity to promote your calls. Thousands of artists will come here every single week and see different calls. They have the option to use different filters for the types of calls they're looking for. They'll also often search for descriptions to look for different themes and different types of mediums.

There are two important things you should do if you want to do well on the calls list:

1. Fill out all of the information very thoroughly. One of the most popular filter requests we have is for different locations. Making sure you're in the right location and have a full description of exactly the type of artist you're looking for will help reduce the cognitive load on artists. They're looking at many calls at once, so making it clear that you are the call for them and that they are the type of artist you're looking for goes a long way.
2. Use an image. First, make sure the image is high definition. Second, make sure it's compelling. As you can see when you go to the calls list, calls that have images will draw your eye before the others. We will internally make sure your call does well, but having an image and a full, accurate description will be really helpful for promoting your call going forward.
