An artist submit their work but now wants to make changes

When an artist asks to change their submitted entry, you have three options:

Option 1: Let the artist edit it themselves

If the call deadline hasn't passed yet and the entry status is still Submitted, artists may already be able to edit. New calls have "Allow Editing After Submission" turned on by default.

To check or enable this setting: 1. Go to your call's Edit page 2. Open the Entry Instructions section 3. Make sure "Allow Editing After Submission" is checked 4. Save the call

The artist can then go to their application and click Edit to make changes. Their entry stays submitted — they don't need to re-submit. See the artist-side guide for what this looks like.

Option 2: Edit it yourself

As an admin, you can edit any entry at any time — even after the deadline. Go to the entry detail page and click Edit. See I need to edit an entry in my call for a full walkthrough.

Option 3: If the deadline has passed

If the deadline has passed and the artist can't edit, your only option is to edit it yourself (Option 2). Admins can always edit entries regardless of deadlines or entry status.

Note: If the entry has already been moved to "Show to Jury" or "Accepted," any edits will be immediately visible to jurors.
