How do tokens work?
Tokens are how you pay for using EntryThingy. Think of them like credits for using the platform.
As a reminder, EntryThingy never charges set up fees, nor do we skim a portion of your entry fees that artists pay. The only way we make money is through sale of tokens.
Each entry that a gallery receives costs one token. That token is deducted when:
- an artist clicks the Submit button and finalizes their entry. This is when the status of an entry changes from 'not submitted' to 'submitted'.
- an administrator changes the status of an entry from 'not submitted' to any other status. This is also the case when you use the 'update status' macro on a show.
We also charge tokens for some other features on the EntryThingy platform. Please learn more on our pricing page: https://www.entrythingy.com/pricing
