What's the difference between free and paid plans?

EntryThingy offers both free and paid options. Here's what you need to know.

For Artists

Creating an artist account is always free. You can:

• Browse calls for entries
• Create and manage your artist profile
• Save artwork to your portfolio
• Start applications

Entry fees (if any) are set by individual galleries, not by EntryThingy.

For Galleries/Organizations

Galleries use a token-based system:

• Free to get started: Create your account and set up calls
• Pay as you go: Purchase tokens that are used when artists submit entries
• Token cost: Varies based on volume - contact us for pricing

What are tokens?

Tokens are used when an artist submits an entry to your call. One token = one submission. You can purchase tokens in bundles. See How do tokens work? for more details.

Can I stay on free forever?

If you're an artist, yes! Artist accounts are always free.

If you're a gallery, you'll need tokens to receive submissions. However, you can set up and preview your calls without purchasing tokens. We have no set up fees or annoying sales-y "call for details" hidden pricing.
