Can we use other payment options, like Square?

EntryThingy supports multiple ways to collect entry fees:

Built-in payment options

• PayPal — The original payment option. Artists pay via PayPal, and their entry status automatically updates to "Submitted" when payment is confirmed. Set this up using the PayPal button builder in your call's payment settings.
• Square — Connect your Square account to accept credit card payments. Entry status updates automatically after payment. Contact us at help@entrythingy.com to get Square set up for your platform.

Other options

• Off-platform payments — Collect fees outside of EntryThingy (by check, bank transfer, at the door, through your own website, etc.). Artists submit their application first, then you manually mark their entry as "Submitted" after receiving payment. See Accepting off-platform payments for setup instructions.
• Free calls — No entry fee required. Artists submit and their entry is marked as "Submitted" immediately.

Which should I choose?

• PayPal or Square if you want automatic status updates after payment
• Off-platform if you already have a payment system or collect fees in person
• Free if there's no entry fee for this call
