Can we use other payment options, like Square?

You can use other payment options, with a caveat. Right now, EntryThingy's automatic status changes are only supported with PayPal. Meaning, if you want artists to pay and immediately see their status change for their submission, then that is only functioning using the PayPal button builder you see in our call creation.

If you would like to use other payment options, you can either:

1. Create HTML code to create a "Pay Now" button for your Square / Stripe / other account, and then manually change artists status to Submitted when you see the payment come through.
2. Make the call not require a payment and then have artists pay in-person or at another time. This is best if you have a local call or one specific to frequently recurring members.

In either case, we recommend putting in the "Entry Instructions" what artists should expect.

We will be adding integration options for Square and others in our near-term roadmap. It's just not yet created.
