Can I delete an entry?
Yes, administrators can delete entries from their calls. Just keep in mind that deleting an entry is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to Delete an Entry
From the Entry Detail Page
- Log in as an Administrator and navigate to your call
- Click "Entries" to view all entries
- Click the Entry ID of the entry you want to delete
- Click the three-dot menu (top right of the entry detail page)
- Click "Delete Entry"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
From the Entries List
- Navigate to your call's Entries list
- Find the entry you want to remove
- Click the "Delete" link next to the entry
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
What Happens When You Delete an Entry
- The entry and all of its pieces (artwork) are permanently removed from your call
- Any votes or jury scores associated with the entry are also deleted
- If the entry was in "Submitted" status, the token is refunded to your platform's token balance
- The artist will no longer see this entry on their Applications page
When You Might Not Want to Delete
Before deleting, consider whether one of these alternatives is a better fit:
- Wrong status? You can change the entry's status instead (e.g., set it to "Withdrawn" or "Not Accepted") to keep it on record
- Needs edits? You can edit the entry directly as an administrator
- Duplicate entry? If the artist submitted twice, you may want to keep one and delete the other
Deletion is best reserved for entries that were created in error or are no longer needed at all.
