Why can't I login with an email that I've used for an artist account or admin account?
EntryThingy has separate account types -- Artist, Admin, and Juror -- and each one has its own login. This means you can have multiple accounts that share the same email address, but you need to log in at the right place for each one.
Why does this happen?
Artist accounts and admin accounts are different systems with different permissions. An artist account lets you submit entries to calls. An admin account lets you manage calls, review entries, and configure your gallery's settings. Because they serve different purposes, they have separate logins -- even if they use the same email address.
How to figure out which account you need
- Submitting artwork to a call? You need your artist account. Log in at the call page or at app.entrythingy.com using the artist login.
- Managing a call or reviewing entries? You need your admin account. Log in through your gallery's admin login page.
- Judging or scoring entries? You need your juror account. You should have received a juror invitation email with a link to log in.
What if I can't remember which account I have?
Try resetting your password. The password reset process will let you know if an account exists for your email address in that account type. If you're still having trouble, reach out to us and we can help you sort out which accounts are associated with your email.
