How to edit pieces in your portfolio

You can edit any piece in your portfolio to update its details like title, materials, dimensions, price, or description. Here's how:

Editing a Piece

  1. Go to Portfolio
  2. Click "Portfolio" in the navigation menu (or visit app.entrythingy.com/artist/artwork/)
  3. Find the piece you want to edit
  4. Browse through your portfolio pieces
  5. Click on the piece you want to edit
  6. Make your changes
  7. Update any of the following fields:

  8. Title: Name of your artwork

  9. Materials: What the piece is made of (e.g., "Oil on canvas", "Digital print")
  10. Dimensions: Size of the artwork (height, width, depth, and unit)
  11. Year: When the piece was created
  12. Price: Selling price (if applicable)
  13. Description: Additional details about the work
  14. Save your changes
  15. Click "Save" to update the piece
  16. Your changes will be saved immediately

What Gets Updated

When you edit a portfolio piece: - The changes are saved to your portfolio - If you've already used this piece in a call application, the portfolio version is updated - Future uses of this piece will use the updated information - Your Display Link will show the updated information (if enabled)

Note: Editing a piece in your portfolio doesn't automatically update pieces you've already submitted to calls. Those submissions keep the information they had when you submitted them.

Tips

Keep information current: - Update prices if they change - Add descriptions to help galleries understand your work - Keep dimensions accurate for accurate representation

Best practices: - Use consistent formatting for materials (e.g., always "Oil on canvas" not sometimes "oil on canvas") - Include complete dimensions (height × width × depth if applicable) - Add meaningful descriptions that help jurors understand your work
