- Continue your application
- Add more pieces if the call allows multiple submissions
- Complete the rest of the application form
Tips for Successful Uploads
Image quality: - Use high-resolution images (at least 1000px on the longest side) - Ensure images are in RGB/sRGB color space (not CMYK) - Save images as JPEG or PNG format
File size: - Most calls accept files up to 25 MB - If your file is too large, use the Pixel Prep tool to optimize it - Compress images before uploading if needed
Best practices: - Upload images that accurately represent your work - Use good lighting and clear backgrounds - Crop images to focus on the artwork - Name your files descriptively before uploading
Troubleshooting Upload Issues
If your upload stalls or fails: - Check your internet connection - Try uploading one image at a time - Use a different browser or clear your browser cache - Ensure your file is under the size limit
If you get an error about file size: - Use Pixel Prep to resize your image - Compress the image using image editing software - Check the call's specific size requirements
If your image doesn't display correctly: - Make sure the color space is RGB/sRGB (not CMYK) - Try converting the file to JPEG format - Re-export the image from your editing software
