What to do when you reach your storage limit
Each subscription tier has a storage limit for how many pieces you can store in your portfolio. Here's what happens when you reach your limit and what you can do about it:
Understanding Storage Limits
Free tier: 3 pieces Basic tier: 50 pieces Standard tier: 200 pieces Connoisseur tier: Unlimited pieces
What Happens When You Reach Your Limit
You'll see: - A message on your Portfolio page showing you've reached your limit - An indicator showing "Limit Reached" or how many pieces you have - Upload buttons may be disabled or show a message
What you CAN still do: - View all your existing pieces - Edit pieces you've already uploaded - Use existing pieces in call applications - Delete pieces to free up space
What you CANNOT do: - Upload new pieces until you free up space or upgrade - Add pieces to your portfolio beyond your limit
Your Options
Option 1: Delete Pieces You Don't Need
If you have pieces you no longer need: 1. Go to Portfolio 2. Find pieces you want to remove 3. Delete them to free up space 4. You can then upload new pieces
Good candidates for deletion: - Pieces you've sold and no longer want to show - Old work that doesn't represent your current style - Duplicate uploads - Test pieces or mistakes
Option 2: Upgrade Your Subscription
If you want to keep all your pieces and add more: 1. Go to your Subscription page 2. Choose a higher tier (Standard or Connoisseur) 3. Complete checkout 4. Your limit increases immediately
Upgrade options: - Basic → Standard: Increases from 50 to 200 pieces - Standard → Connoisseur: Increases to unlimited pieces - Free → Any tier: Get more storage and unlock Pixel Prep
Option 3: Wait and Manage Your Portfolio
If you're not ready to upgrade: - Delete old pieces when you want to add new ones - Keep your portfolio focused on your best current work - Rotate pieces in and out as needed
Important Notes
Your artwork is safe: - Reaching your limit doesn't delete any pieces - All your existing pieces remain in your portfolio - You just can't add new ones until you free up space
Pieces already submitted: - Pieces used in call applications aren't affected - You can still view and manage submitted entries - The limit only affects new portfolio uploads
Checking Your Usage
To see how many pieces you have: 1. Go to Portfolio 2. Look for the storage indicator (e.g., "15 / 50 pieces") 3. Or check your Subscription page for usage details
If you see "over limit": - This means you have more pieces than your current tier allows - This can happen if you downgraded your subscription - You'll need to delete pieces or upgrade to upload new work
