What the Preview Shows
The preview displays your entry exactly as jurors and gallery administrators see it, including:

- Entry ID number: How your entry is identified (e.g., "Entry #123")
- Entry description: Your description of the work
- Category: The category you selected (if the call uses categories)
- Submission date: When you submitted the entry
- Entry status: Current status (Submitted, Show to Jury, etc.)
All Your Pieces

- Price: Sale price (if applicable)
- Year: When each piece was created

Understanding Blind Jury Mode
If the call uses blind jurying, the preview includes special indicators to show what jurors will and won't see.
When Blind Jurying is Enabled
You'll see a notice at the top:
"This is a jury-blind call. Jurors will see your artwork and entry details, but NOT your name, profile statement, or contact information. Only the gallery admin can see your identity."
Sections hidden from jurors are marked with orange badges: - "Hidden from jurors in blind mode" badges appear on: - Artist Profile Statement section - Contact Information section
What this means: - You see everything (so you can review your complete submission) - Jurors see: Entry ID, artwork, piece details, entry description - Jurors don't see: Your name, profile statement, contact info - Gallery admins see: Everything (they need full info for administration)
Note: The preview shows all your information so you can review it, but clearly indicates what jurors won't see. This helps you understand how your work will be evaluated anonymously.
When Blind Jurying is Not Enabled
You'll see a notice:
"This is exactly what a gallery or juror will see when reviewing your submission. All piece details, contact information, and artwork are displayed as they would appear to reviewers."
Everything is visible: - Jurors see your name, profile statement, and contact information - No orange badges appear - All information is shown as jurors will see it
What You Won't See in Preview
The preview shows what jurors see, which means you won't see:
- Voting scores or points: Jurors' votes and scores are hidden from artists
- Juror notes: Any notes jurors add about your entry
- Acceptance/rejection status: Final jury results (until they're announced)
- Other artists' entries: You can only preview your own entries
Why: This keeps the jurying process fair and prevents artists from seeing evaluation details before results are finalized.
Using the Preview Effectively

Prepare for jurying: - Understand how jurors will view your work - See exactly what information is available to reviewers - Feel confident about your submission
Common Questions
"Can I edit my entry from the preview?" - The preview is read-only (you can't edit from there) - To make changes, go back to "View Entry Details" and click "Edit" - Or use the "Edit" link from your applications list
"Why do I see my name if blind jurying is enabled?" - The preview shows you everything so you can review your complete submission - Orange badges indicate what jurors won't see - This helps you understand what information jurors have access to
"Will jurors see my votes or scores?" - No—artists never see voting scores or points - The preview doesn't show these (jurors see them, but you don't) - This keeps the process fair
"Can I preview other artists' entries?" - No—you can only preview your own entries - This protects other artists' privacy - Each artist sees only their own work
"Does the preview update if I edit my entry?" - Yes! If you edit your entry and then preview again, you'll see the updated information - Always preview after making changes to verify updates
"What if I don't see a preview link?" - Make sure you're logged in as the artist who owns the entry - Verify the entry exists and belongs to you - Try refreshing the page - Contact support if the link still doesn't appear

Troubleshooting
"The preview looks different than my entry edit page" - This is normal! The preview shows the juror view, which may have different formatting - The preview is what jurors actually see, so trust what you see there
"Some information is missing in the preview" - Check that you've filled out all required fields - Verify you've saved your entry after making changes - Some information may be hidden in blind jury mode (check for orange badges)
"Images aren't showing in the preview" - Make sure images uploaded successfully - Check your internet connection - Try refreshing the page - Verify images meet the call's requirements
"I see orange badges but don't understand what they mean" - Orange badges mean "Hidden from jurors in blind mode" - This information is visible to gallery admins but not to jurors - Your name, profile statement, and contact info are hidden from jurors - This is normal for blind jury calls
