I want jurors to see artist's statements and resumes
You can configure your call so that jurors see a link to each artist's profile, which includes their artist statement and resume. Here's how to set it up.
Step by Step
- Go to your call and click Edit
- Scroll down to the Juror Settings section
- Check "Show link to entrant profile"
- Save your call
That's it. Jurors will now see a link to each artist's profile page when reviewing entries. Clicking the link shows the artist's statement, resume, and other profile information.
Make Sure Artists Are Asked for Statements
For this to be useful, artists need to have filled out their statement and resume. You can prompt them to do so:
- While editing the call, scroll to the Entry Settings section
- Check "Ask for statement and resume"
- Save your call
With this enabled, artists will be asked to provide their statement and resume as part of the entry process. Artists can also add or update both at any time from My Profile.
Good to Know
- These are profile-level statements, not per-entry statements. Each artist has one statement and one resume on their profile, and that same information is shown to jurors across all of their entries.
- Blind jurying overrides this setting. If you have blind jurying enabled, the profile link will be hidden from jurors regardless of this setting. Blind jurying is designed to keep artist identities anonymous, so showing profile information would conflict with that goal.
- This is especially useful for calls where the artist's background, training, or artistic philosophy is relevant to the selection process — such as residency programs, grants, or themed exhibitions.
