What format do downloads come in? What's a .csv file?

CSV stands for 'Comma Separated Values'. It's a file that is most frequently opened in Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers program. It has all your information in various columns. We use it for the downloader because it's the easiest way to get you all your information accurately and in a low-storage file type.

Pro Tip: If you plan on formatting the file after downloading, then save it as an .xlsx file or some other format in whatever program you use to edit the program. Typically .csv files are low storage and do not save formats!
